Eunmi Kim's Life Coaching
10 coaching tips for a better life
Psychotherapy through stories
I am a psychological coach. Through lectures and coaching, we meet a wide variety of people of different ages, professions, academic backgrounds, genders, life experiences and beliefs. People with different spectrums of life. In the case of personal coaching, the issues of starting coaching are all different. Relationships, emotional control difficulties, anxiety due to an uncertain future, refusal to attend school and helplessness, deterioration of self-esteem, etc. But surprisingly, after a few coaching sessions, they say the same thing.
“I want to find a true person. I don't know what I really like. It seems to be happy to see me. I don't know how to live well."
High school students and young people who are looking for their dreams and visions, as well as 3040 workers and those who are facing retirement after their fifties are in common appeal. How many people who have been born in the world and have grown up without ever planning and implementing something as intended or desired. We live according to what we always have to do and choose what looks good to others rather than choosing what we like. How could I know who I am and what I like in a society where I am guilty of satisfying my own needs and being forced to consider others before I learn to love myself?
The problem becomes even worse if you encounter cliffs or cliffs in your life as you climb the stairs made by someone along a fixed rail. Several seasons pass over and over again during our lives. In someone's life, spring can be in their 20s or 40s or 50s. There must be cases where the cold weather lasts long. If you continue to experience a desperate situation that you will not be able to escape even if you try to solve it yourself, your self-esteem is likely to decrease.
'I am a useless person. Can't do anything It's really over when someone knows this.'
The voice of blame and blame from the inside is getting louder, making it impossible for anyone to move on without saying anything. We have to take the courage to ask questions. Instead of focusing on the problem at hand and trying to figure out how to get away, you should ask'why'.
“Why did this happen to me?”
“Why does this happen to me over and over again?”
When you start asking'why', the subject who can solve the problem is restored. If you are reading this article and have a problem that has been persistently following for a long time, I encourage you to ask. Read the above question aloud. And answer. If you don't remember the answer, or if the word'I don't know' comes up first, ask persistently and ask again. From your deep abyss to honest answers.
By just asking and answering like this, you will experience an eye revival and self-esteem gradually recovering. Then you will naturally know how to solve it. The expert on your problem is yourself.
Coaching TIP for a better life
Thinking about the unwanted experience you are experiencing right now, try to breathe in and out and focus on it. Then, as you feel, give it a name. Please give your nickname a perfect match for your experience. For example, if you are “wook” out of control without any attempt, so if you are hurting your family, what would you like to nickname? Anything is good. You are more professional than yourself in the world.
Now, if you've nicknamed yourself, let's create a profile for it, like introducing a game character.
Introduction procedures and items
1. Expressed in pictures.
2. Nickname
3. Features
4. Personality
5. Properties
6. Impact on me
7. The most problematic situation and why you think so
8. The way it wields my life at will (everything I've found so far)
9. What does it want me to say, ask, ask for?
10. What do I want it for?
We recommend that you focus on yourself in a quiet place and proceed through missions 1-10. You don't have to focus too seriously. Humor causes wisdom to be found in serious situations. Congratulations on your encounter with it, which you take with you without taking care of you without knowing it for a long time. The results of the activity will be learned by your experience. If you repeat several times, you will have a different experience each time.
